Imperial strengthens business relations with Chinese customers and celebrates with them the arrival of the New Year of the Rabbit

San José, Costa Rica. January 19, 2023. Imperial, Costa Rica’s beer, celebrates the arrival of the Chinese New Year of the Rabbit, as a way to thank the excellent business relations it develops day by day with thousands of Asian customers throughout the country.

Imperial brewed a special edition with a label in Mandarin that was distributed among some of its customers and will also be carrying out a series of commercial activations among them to reward their loyalty to the brand.

Chinese trade, culture and education are increasingly present in the country, and that is why Imperial decided to pay this tribute to its customers as a way of recognizing their value and importance for the brand, which dates back several decades.

A publication on the University of Costa Rica’s website titled “Studies on China from (Latin) America in commemoration of the 160th anniversary of the arrival of the first Chinese in Costa Rica”, states that Costa Rica has been linked to China and its inhabitants approximately since 1855, the year in which the first arrival was recorded.

Nicolás Silva, Imperial’s brand manager, said “the good commercial relationship that our company and brand have established with Asian customers in Costa Rica, prompted us to celebrate with them the arrival of the Chinese New Year. This celebration is not only symbolic, but marks a change in the way we serve this population in person and digitally”.

As part of the brand’s commercial strategies to improve the business relations with its Chinese customers, the translation into Mandarin of the company’s e-commerce website was announced, to make it easier for them to place online orders and make electronic purchases for their business.
