In 2024, an innovative project was strengthened: an insemination and genetic improvement laboratory for queen bee reproduction, incorporating new hives (nuclei). It is expected to be completed by 2025.
This laboratory will be a type of beekeeping operating room with all the equipment and technology for the instrumental insemination of bees, where the genetic origin of the bees will be controlled based on productive, disease defense and adaptive resistance traits.
